SFU Library Reference Desk - AskAway
For help with research. Reference staff can show students how to find and use the best information resources for their topic. Librarians also create “subject guides” outlining information sources for academic disciplines taught at SFU.

Career Services
Provides assistance with resumes and cover letters

Beedie School of Business: Career Management Centre
Offers students in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program coaching workshops on professional resumes and cover letters.

Beedie School Writing Mentors
Aimed at undergraduate students registered in business courses and will provide those students with practical resources to help them develop strong critical writing skills.

Centre for Students with Disabilities
Information and counsel for students with a documented or suspected disability.

Indigenous Student Centre
Provides programs and support services for Indigenous students

SFU Student Learning Commons Resources 

The SFU SLC offers three types of free one-on-one consultations in Burnaby, Surrey, and Vancouver to SFU students taking credit courses:

Writing: Develop and improve strategies and skills for more effective academic writing.
Learning: Enhance strategies such as time management, exam preparation, and note-taking.
Speaking: Strengthen English conversation skills (designed for EAL students; available only at Burnaby and Surrey).
